Great product

I've used Turbotax for all my returns for several years. It gets easier and clearer each year, in spite of tax law.
What's great about it: Easy to use; does all the work for you.
What's not so great: Updates are a bit slow to receive, even over very high speed internet connection.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I've been using Intuit products since TurboTax was MacInTax and the product keeps getting better each year. No issues at all this year!
What's great about it: Flawless updating of both Federal and State Software-Good use experience.
What's not so great: No problems to report.

Very easy to use. Explains any questions that may come up while entering information. Have been using Turbo Tax for several years and have never had any issues with it.

Excellent Help!

Excellent way to get the money you deserve! I use to pay hundreds of dollars to have someone else do my taxes. The crazy part was that I was the one doing all the work. I had to file all my paperwork and would tally up my own receipts. It just made sense to start doing my own taxes. Turbo tax asks me all the right questions and transfers all my business info over year to year. I've been filing my own taxes the last 5 years and have never regretted switching over!
What's great about it: Lots of good questioning
What's not so great: Couldn't see all the items in a section without scrolling up and down. Text seemed bigger.

premier getting better, but big flaw again in not asking if any of the cap gain distribution was from muni fund in my state. I should not have to catch this and enter it as subtraction on state. you shpuld ask on fed and then transfer to state return.
What's great about it: better than previous in clarity
What's not so great: once again did not ask if any of my cap gains distribution came from my state muni bond fund thus it was not on my state

The program did not walk me through all my forms automatically this year. I had to click on each one and nearly missed a deduction that would have cost us around $1,000, even though TurboTax said that it had already checked the form and everything was good.
I've used TuboTax for several years and this year's version was by far the worst. I will probably go back to an accountant for next year.

The most easy way to file your tax within an hour

I have been used TurboTax for some many years already. It's very easy to follow their steps. This year the software is easier to follow compare to last year. The time to finish tax is shorter too.

Much improved from last year

Works great now handling imports without errors and k-1 forms correctly, without having to make manual form corrections. Handles large brokerage investments and made tax preparation go much faster than previous years.
What's great about it: imports worked, handled k-1s correctly
