So Easy!

TURBO TAX IS ONE OF THE GREATEST THINGS FOR DOING YOUR TAXES. I USE IT EVERY YEAR AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO. I LIKE TURBO TAX VERY MUCH

Mostly easy but painful to compare diff. scenarios

Great for simple returns.
Wish they would make it easier to compare filing married joint vs. married filing separately. We lived in different states for part of the year so we had to first try married joint, and then try separate federal returns and separate for 2 states. Very complicated at times and very time consuming!
The website says there is a "what-if" worksheet available that can help you predict different scenarios, but we could not find this in the worksheets sections, and it still apparently wouldn't have calculated differences in STATE returns for the two scenarios.
Maybe this is a feature that turbotax could offer in upcoming years. Wish in the future that the "premier" package we paid for would allow us "trial" different tax scenarios without re-typing everything.

E-Filing was easy

Easy to use, i can skip parts i know don't apply to us, and delve into areas that may.
What's great about it: Found a tax credit, led me thru all possibilities earnings & deductions
What's not so great: laborious, but our return always is

Another great Tax Year

I've used it now for 10 years and never had any issues or problems. The way it walks you to get the input is easy to understand and has help when needed. I've had some odd issues over the years and got great help as is and or calling them direct once. Will keep using product. I use it for my daughters, parents, and it works well.

I have a great deal of confidence in Turbo Tax and I've used it since I can't remember when to prepare my taxes. Wouldn't use anything else.
What's great about it: Simple, easy guided way to prepare and file taxes
What's not so great: none that I've found

Difficult to grasp Capital Loss carry-over vs. $3,000 Loss Credit, but still excellent overall. Best by far. Financial Institution Downloads are a life-saver. They work very well and save hours of work! Thank you!
What's great about it: Walks you through; Financial Stock Downloads is a perfect 10.
