Wonderful time doing tax

Very easy to use and get accurate data to IRS.
What's great about it: ease of answering questions and entering data
What's not so great: nothing

I had to manually enter my trips to Arizona to inspect my rental property even though I entered them in Quicken Rental Property.
I had to search for other infor like property taxes, Auto taxes, etc.
These things should sync with Quicken
What's not so great: Didn't download all my info from Quicken

Getting Better

I have used TurboTax since it was supplied on floppy disks. . . maybe late '80's? Every year. So I have experience. On some years it has seemed to become more difficult to use and VERY difficult to do a "what if" scenario by varying answers.
This 2015 year package was pretty clean, easier to use than many past ones. I particularly value the rental property portion as it handles depreciation so well.

What's not so great: Never clear how to switch between help, forms, and easy-guide

EDIT - DELETE Confusion

It's not at all clear that to enter the current tax year's info on some screens that you must click EDIT if you're entering data from the same "source" as last year's.
What's not so great: Some too vague screens.

Just plain Awesome!

My husband and I are longtime users of TurboTax and we love it!! It makes filing our taxes so easy. We started out years ago using the basic version and as our family grew and our needs grew TurboTax grew with us. Even though we have much more to go over it is still just as easy. Being able to import our W2's is awesome. It cuts time and the possibility of human error. If you aren't sure what forms you need, don't worry it will tell you! I love how it takes me through step by step by asking simple questions to determine what we can claim and if we need any additional forms. I feel that by asking these key questions they are finding the highest refund we are due. I also feel quite confident that we have filed our taxes properly.
What's great about it: It takes you step by step
