Pretty Simple Process for Pretty Simple Return

I have a simple tax return and this made it easy to handle it myself.
What's great about it: Step by step walk through of expenses and deductions
What's not so great: confused about a few sheets and whether or not they should have been filled out.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and find it an efficient way to handle our tax situation. I have confidence that the result is accurate.
What's great about it: Confidence that all subjects are covered
What's not so great: no issues

I found the Turbo Tax Consultants so helpful, patient and very knowledgeable about their product. They were very well mannered and patient with my questions and helping me through my very first experience on this program. I phoned each time and each representative was extremely professional!!
What's great about it: The sections were easy to follow and I liked the instant feedback for each section
What's not so great: a glitch when I attempted to pay on line for state return

the program was very helpful and covered all taxes in a easy to understand. The help menu could be better explaining carryover worksheet question. However I would buy again I have been with this program for several years.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: carryover question /pull down menu on additional blocks on 1099

I will continue to highly recommend Turbo Tax to all my friends.
What's great about it: Ease of data entry. Step by step very good.
What's not so great: Password at the start of the return was confusing.

Easy, clear, quick, and perpetuating

I've used TurboTax for probably 20 years for both personal and my small business. My historical records are easy to review and most recent info is there for use in current year. I can't see changing to any other program.
What's great about it: Great advantage to import last years basics to save time this year
What's not so great: Had a hard time printing return for review this year. It worked on 3rd attempt.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

2015 individual return

our employer adds the ESPP to W2, so taxes have already been paid. TT wasn't able to catch that and I think I got double taxed on the ESPP. their instructions didn't work on how to fix that, or they were so unclear that they were unusable.
What's great about it: quick
What's not so great: don't think it calculated ESPP correctly, and help files were not helpful at all
