Disappointed with TurboTax software glitches

Had to call tech support twice due to glitches with application. In reviewing the TurboTax self help, I saw that people had posted issues about the two glitches I reported today last year. Also, at the end, I was not able to purchase the Audit Defense protection being the application froze up and would not move forward with taking my credit card info.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to complete taxes.
What's not so great: TurboTax Premier downloaded version for Windows 7 glitchy

No email confirmations

I really do not using software without all form updates complete. Software should not be released until ready to fully process. Once the software was ready to email the process was smooth, however no email confirmation of acceptance was received like it was last year. I had to go into the program to confirm acceptance.
What's not so great: No confirmation of email submissions accepted
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Poor Experience This Year

On my personal and a family member's returns, after closing and saving, I could not reopen the files and received an error code. On My return that entailed restarting a very complex return that was previously 80% complete. This took me over two hours to complete.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Files Crashed Mulitple Times Processing FEE -BAD!!
Pros: I bought or sold investments, I moved

My brother, an expert tax preparer till last year after 32 years of practicing helped me with my taxes. The software should be more friendly for those who know what they are doing. It took him twice as much time to complete this return than last year when he used Pro Series.

Waiting for Health Coverage Tax Credit (HCTC) fix

The TurboTax Federal Review error message states "The Health Coverage Tax Credit cannot be taken when the Premium Tax Credit is claimed." The IRS instructions for F8885 HCTC are "You must file F8962 to reconcile advance payments of the premium tax credit (APTC)". F8962 uses info from the 1095-A form. As a result efile fails with error message that I cannot claim both F8885 and F8962. For 2015 the IRS allows the HCTC for Obamacare premiums so both forms are needed . Spoke to TurboTax tech support and they said they will report issue.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Failed efile and error check for HCTC F8885

Turbo Tax has been wonderful, in the past. This year, however, I did not find it as user friendly. I had to enter the same info over and over, to the point that I got frustrated. I have used the program for over a ten year period and this year is the only year where I became concerned.
What's great about it: I have used turbo tax for over a decade. They are very good.
What's not so great: This year, the program had me enter items multiple times.
