What's great about it: Nicely organized and easy to understand whether you use the step-by-step or do-it-myself method.
What's not so great: Not intuitive that you can print your copy before e-filing the return.

My 2015 Tax Return

Turbo Tax makes it almost fun to do your income tax, except the numbers are depressing. I did have one problem were what Turbo Tax entered into a box did not agree with what the IRS tax tables said should have been entered. After doing research in the Turbo Tax help center I found that the Turbo Tax figure was right and the reason for the discrepancy.
What's great about it: Step by step process

My 2015 TurboTax experience

Another year and glad I used TT.
I was surprised that the update feature took almost an hour both times I went through it - never had that kind of delay in past years.

What's great about it: Interview and jump to a subject were great; jump between forms and interview was easy
What's not so great: TT let me fill out both a Sched F and form 8835 for my farm rental and you can only use one;
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Didn't work for me

I'm an 80 yr old college graduate and very good with computers. We've used TurboTax Delux for very many years but because it was changed last year we had our taxes done commercially. This year we went with TurboTax Premier. I found it wouldn't do what I wanted; and did what I didn't want; and otherwise extremely unfriendly and frustrating. After 2 days I downloaded the IRS forms and did it all by hand. TurboTax Premier.it turned out was a total waste of time and money.
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: Very unfriendly.

Have used Turbo Tax for many years. Had a hard time finding how to print out as I entered results in Sch. D. Should have been easier

POOR quality this year never had problem in past. Overcharged
What's not so great: didn't want to e-file but forms wouldn't print stopped 1/2 way through

What's not so great: helps inconsistent - sometimes provide explanations, sometimes sound like they were written by an accountant
