Fastest & easiest way to do taxes

What's great about it: good quiery process addresses most need
What's not so great: a couple of worksheets needed more that "zero" to pass program review

Easy as pie

I've always done my taxes myself until I had my own business. After selling my business, I went back to doing it myself, but always had questions and had to spend hours searching the IRS website or looking online. I finally decided to give Turbo Tax a try a few years ago, and it was so easy and clean. Worth every penny. Saves you time and gives you the peace of mind to know it was done right. Valuation of your charitable non-monetary donations is also a snap with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Use the easy guide to walk you through, or just go where you want.
What's not so great: Not a thing comes to mind.

Overall the program easily walked me through the preparation of the tax return. I like the option of going through the various income and deduction items one by one or selecting the ones I want to work on. I found instructions for the schedule A itemized deductions a little tricky or confusing. It may have just been the terminology.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Some items are a little tricky.

some times seems too simple

I still remember filling out all the forms manually. I think the program is worth the price just for filling out schedule D and electronic filing. I recently went back into the rental business. I had not done any rental since using tax programs. Adding the rental data seemed too easy. I was concerned about whether all the forms were filled out ,so I checked them all out. To my surprise the data was all placed were I thought it should have been if I filled it out manual like it did 20 years ago.
What's great about it: easy down loads, pretty flexible format that doesn't make you go through every subject
