FAST!

Quick and easy - just follow each step. We have used Turbo Tax for several years. The only thing I don't like is paying to file my State form.
What's great about it: Imports last years information
What's not so great: Paying to Efile State return

I am a retired CPA. I did have a little more difficulty this years, but I can not pinpoint the reason.
What's great about it: I love Turbo Tax. Many years of use.
What's not so great: schedule k-1's were difficult

Old man's attempt...seems to WORK!

#1) I'm Old.. and.not all that computer "savvy" plus this was a long experience (in time taken to finish)
#2) If I were a better reader it would have been MUCH easier.
Neither of the above are TurboTax problem or responsibility.
I feel MUCH has been accomplished and I want to thank Turbo Tax for this FINE product. It has made me look much better than I am.
My son has been after me for years to do this...and he is right and I WILL to THIS again NEXT year...

I don't own a business, so I don't know how good Turbo Tax works for a small business, but for me...I love it!
What's great about it: Easy to use!
What's not so great: None, I love Turbo Tax!

TurboTax premier

TurboTax premier. Before used deluxe version to do 401ks and retirement reporting to IRS. Now have paid extra for the premier version to do same taxes. Not happy with this change.
What's great about it: Easy and faster to do taxes.
What's not so great: Costs me more for Turbo tax program this year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Save $ and stress

I love being able to do my own taxes. Spent way to much money paying someone else when I did all of the accounting work. They just took my numbers and plugged them into a program...like I just did!!! My requests are really simple things. I would have the curser go back to the same spot I left when I edit a category and then close it. It always returns you to the top of the previous page, and you spend a lot of time scrolling down.
I do love how everything is automatically picked up from one return to the next without me having to do anything.

What's great about it: The checking of entries for accuracy and completeness saves a lot of stress.
What's not so great: Wish screen navigation was more intuitive.

Help was Not as Helpful

Going through this years taxes brought up a few more questions and the way the help portions were this year they were not as available as they use to be, and were kinda short and not completely helpful
What's great about it: Went alright
