a few things to work on

I have been a TurboTax user since its inception. One of my biggest peeves is if you must edit any information a few categories back, you must work your way back along the same path. There should be a 'return me to origination' button. As an accountant, i realize these edits occur frequently, so many lay users must waste much time traveling through the software. The Back Button does not provide a consistent back travel. It just returns to previous screen movement, so you literally can go back and forth, instead of traveling. yah...
What's great about it: screen info more concise this year
What's not so great: moving around the software remains frustrating

What's not so great: When clicking on a highlighted (or colored) reference for help, a notice came up that it was not available.

Wheres my refund?

It was great having all the info to go straight into the state tax return. It took over 5 years to fix the software to account for retirees who do not have to declare income in certain states.
What's great about it: Easy to enter info
What's not so great: Took awhile to get the latest laws uncorporated
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Did what I needed

I use the Step-by-step which is great, but I find myself going back to the forms view to check on things I'm not sure of. It really makes all aspects of doing my taxes easier. I see no reason to print the federal return with the state return if you're filing electronically since you already have the federal return. It's just a waste of paper.
What's great about it: I couldn't live without it
What's not so great: Make print of Federal return with State return optional
