I have been using turbo tax for years and it keeps getting easier, even with rental properties in different states and a retirement from another state.
Turbo Tax is the only way to get it done right!

Couldn't add Form 5329 to the file. Need to include flexibility to add additional forms.

I think it is deplorable that you have not fixed the glitch that does not allow me to efile my resident state of GA since I also have to file taxes in Iowa. This is at least the 3rd year that I have had to mail in my GA tax return.
What's not so great: Can not efile GA tax since I also file another state tax

By the time you have gathered up your info for an accountant, you might as well have used turbo, because it is done. Cost savings, and time savings.
What's great about it: easy, accurate, fast
What's not so great: sometimes I like to see the detail and it's tough to find
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Thus year's version did the expected good job of asking the right questions. It had issues with calculating last year's city tax, counting my estimated payments as a refund, but I file city tax directly on their web site.
It would be nice is somewhere in the documentation on-line they described exactly what is imported when you import last year's return.
