What's great about it: Easy format, you can find answers all question quickly and accurately

I love working with TurboTax.
This year was easier than previous years.

What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: You have to upgrade if need other forms
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I'm not sure that a perfect computer-based tax filing program can ever be developed. The tax codes are so arcane and complex. And most of the time the filer's emotions are too high for the process to feel comfortable and easy. But TurboTax comes as close as you can get to making the experience tolerable and failsafe. So I highly recommend it.

Issues with credits

For more esoteric parts of return, ie tax credits, flow is not easy to follow and questions are not addressed. This area should be as easy to use as rest of return.
What's great about it: Current on all forms and tax laws, flows well for most of return
What's not so great: Doesnt handle low income housing credits well

Electronic Taxes Made Easy

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have never had any major issues. I tried using a competitors software last year and ended up going back to Turbo Tax to file. This year I used Turbo Tax from the beginning and it was easy for me and my family.

What's great about it: Love the by the numbers and as I choose approach
What's not so great: Would like the interview to flow without having to add the next section each time
