Have used TurboTax for many years. Am also a certified AARP Tax Aide, which uses a different program. TurboTax is far easier to use than any other program I have used. It puts the information exactly where it needs to go just by answering the questions they ask. Kudos to the tax experts and their correct programming.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Can't find any

Largest refund yet!

TurboTax has been my tax software over the years. As my circumstances have changed, Turbo Tax has captured them and ensured the maximum tax refund.
What's great about it: I love the "interview" format. It walks me through all the various options that can effect my tax refund.
What's not so great: Free eFile is included for Federal but not for State. One state should be included too.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I moved

Filing taxes is never easy.

There is apparently no place on the Intuit screen to correct my email address. This is the screen used when charging the State filing fee to a credit card. You show the email address I had TEN YEARS AGO. So of course I could not select the option to have the acknowledgement sent to my email.
What's great about it: You do the math for me.
What's not so great: Email address screen on Intuit cannot be changed.

Nice and Easy

If you use an accountant to handle the heavy lifting of a small business return (for example, corporate return) and then use Turbo Tax to file your 1040 it is a breeze. Almost a plug and play tax program. User friendly for small partnerships as well and it will print the K-1's or provide .pdf files for email. Nice feature. Dovetails OK with Quick Books, but watch the imported information closely. I found that some of the imported information was correct some not. I ended up just inputting it myself and shelved the import feature.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and easy to file returns
What's not so great: Overlap of programs on several of CD's a bit of a pain. Imported information needs to be checked closely.

Great help but sneaky fees

I dislike the way fees have been sneaking up. The state filing fee should be included with the state package or Turbo Tax should make it clear on the front cover of the CD that the state filing fee is excluded. The deluxe edition should include investment income.
What's great about it: Tremendous for simplifying tax preparation
What's not so great: Fees are sneaking up.
