Updates? Constantly?

Really? The product I used this year reaffirmed that I need to look into another software package. Every time I login, it must check for updates, scans and uploads the exact same amount of data and wastes about three minutes or more of my time when I just want to work on the return. And do not tell me that the changes are that frequent that it is a necessity. I don't buy it.
Quit being lazy and refine this product.
What's great about it: same as last year, no new changes in question line
What's not so great: EVERY login runs a fake update sequence

This is a great product! Oh, I'm sure we can all find many flaws, errors, and shortcomings but for what it does do right, it's amazing. I managed to knock out my 2015 tax return which is fairly complicated with three investment accounts and many transactions, in about six hours. And I feel fairly confident that it is correct and the IRS and CA will accept it. Keep up the good work Intuit/TurboTax. And Thank You.
What's great about it: Installation, Updates, Step-by-Step, Item selection
What's not so great: Home & Business vs Business product titles confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

15th Year with TurboTax

I have used and will continue to use TurboTax because it gets the job done in a concise, accurate, understandable format. I don't have to fret over the accuracy of my math skills, or if something is getting entered at the right place on the form. And when I roll over to the two State returns that I have to file, it grabs everything and throws it in the right place, AND asks the State specific questions that both save me money and time. Does it cost me more than if I just did it myself? Yeah, maybe dollar-wise, but peace of mind, accuracy in filing, and not having to sweat the details as TT tells me that I am getting it right with reviews and corrections - I can afford the cost for the better night sleep. It's not even often that we get a refund, but we know that going in. To know that we paid the LEAST additional amount is right on the money for me.
What's great about it: Reliable, informative, accurate

Premier 2016 Federal and State
on March 5, 2016

Another easy year of TurboTax use. Only down side is that the state return forms don't provide those same comparisons or visualizations you have in the Federal return (1040).
What's great about it: Easily imports previous years data. Covers latest tax law changes
What's not so great: Limited Visualization of State return informaiton

Just like the commercials

This program still puts all of both my spouse and my incomes together when I need to split out our incomes. I have to go back to the form to fix it. It wont split out our non work income either. it dumps it all onto mine. It won't go to the form to begin with, I have to find it in the forms to fix it. By doing this it make it look like I have a huge tax liability.
What's great about it: with through step by step-easy instructions
What's not so great: Turbo Tax still doesn't like the MO Non-Resident Tax Credit
