What's great about it: Ease of instructions - almost brainless process. Improved multiple state submission

I like it, but...

When entering the sale of stocks and the information from the associated 1099-B it does not provide good explanations for what should be entered when there are more lines on the form that what is allowed to enter in the application. For example, when entering short term and long term information it is not clear on how to handle the entry when there is a line for covered and another line for noncovered with no basis or cost information to enter.
I also found it disappointing that I had to use "Print" to be able to preview my return for a early cursory preview and could not just bring it up within the TurboTax application. I think I recall being able to do that in some earlier years.
Everything else is A-#1 in my use of the program. it does well with my rental income and all the other sources of income I have. I will continue to use it in the future.

What's great about it: Generally easy to use and straightforward.
What's not so great: It could be a little more clear on 1099-B activity and provide simpler review of return pages.

Finished and filed my taxes electronically in less than 2 hours. Being able to pull information from the previous years return and various bank accounts, is convenient and quick. Great job TTax!
What's great about it: Step-by-step instructions. Easy search options with concise answers to questions.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years

I couldn't get the new forms to pull up my depreciation schedule from last year. When I tried to enter the depreciation schedule it wouldn't let me to use the depreciation techniques I had used last year. I had to compute my amounts and override the depreciation entries in the forms. It seems that you change the ways you ask for information every year. I had to use the premier forms this year at full price. I didn't feel that the interview process flowed as well this year as other years. Fred
What's great about it: The completion and sending of forms was easier this year.
What's not so great: I got a new computer this year loaded last years return into the new computer. I thought I had all forms but didn't.

I use Turbo Tax Premier. I have my regular job plus I have a an inherited IRA that I receive "Required Minimum Disbursement" (RMD's) on My spouse woks part-time and also has a side job that requires driving around the area using our vehicle. We also have a rental property out of state. I find Premier to cover all of the different income areas that we need along with the deductions, etc. We also upload a lot of the info from the W-2's and other forms (1099's). The key is to keep good records to begin with. I don't think I would ever use any other tax program ever.
What's great about it: this is pretty easy and can be completed in a few hours
What's not so great: You have to have all your records ready to go if you have multiple forms to complete
