I've used turbo tax for many years. always find it easy to use from the import from quicken to pushing the final button for electronic filing to receiving info on tax filing status. good questions allow user to easily determine if the item is applicable. Have always liked watching the tax rebate/payment due counter change as entries are made.
What's great about it: easy to use, great help drop downs.

Helps to Maximize Refund

I have used Turbotax for many years and always find the software easy to use. Really like the addition of software to valuate donated goods.
What's great about it: Easy to use, helpful itemizing charitable donations
What's not so great: Difficult to translate stock forms info into Turbotax forms

I could have used a lesser Turbo Tax. Bought the Premier but didn't need it. Will know better next year.

2015 Taxes

Have used Turbo Tax for 8 years. Every year it seems to get more user friendly. Would recommend that you add a pre Turbo Tax list. One that helps organize deductions, dividends, interest, etc. That way when you are logging into Turbo Tax you are ready. Great program, will sure use it next year.
What's great about it: Maximizes deductions
What's not so great: Still have to pay taxes

Watch out at the end

If you use e-mail, use a split screen or space windows accordingly to view both your e-mail and the Turbo Tax window because the Turbo Tax window won't release. If you close it, you have to re-do the process with a new security code coming to your e-mail or phone.
What's not so great: When paying, the security systems requires confirming codes to your e-mail our phone.

Easy and Accurate

Overall Turbo Tax is the easiest tax system I have used. It is very through and I have been almost always, able to just enter the numbers from the forms I receive in the mail, and the program calculates everything I need, by asking me questions to insure correct information is being used. There have been a few times that I have had to go to the federal tax code, or the state tax code and do some research to insure that I understand what I need to do. Generally I have found the frequent asked questions and answers to not be very helpful as they are not specific enough.
I like the "step by step process" when I am first putting in all my information, but then it is nice to just use the "pick what I want to work on" feature for when I need to go back to an area that I needed to do more research on, or gather more information before I could enter it.

What's great about it: I like that I can either choose the step by step process or only what I want to work on options.
What's not so great: Wish there was direct link button to federal and state tax codes, as i often have to look up better explanations.
