Great Service

Could not go back and search for my previous years tax data after clicking on continue. So had to re-enter basic data and lost all comparisons. I have used TT from the beginning so there should have been 2 years of data on this machine.
Not obvious how to enter Major Purchases into Sales Tax section. Seems that it was a more obvious entry in previous years.
The need to download Adobe Reader was not stated clearly. So prints were garbage until I spent time to research PDF printing.
What's great about it: Easy Thorough

I have used TurboTax for years. I have always found it to be the most straight-forward, easiest to use tax prep software. It handles the nitty gritty of tax season with ease and accuracy. That is the reason I will continue to use it. I love the ease of e-filing and although I have never used the add-on features such as Audit Defense, it is comforting to know that they are available if needed. Thanks, Intuit!

Solid, as always

I've been using TurboTax for many years and, as always, I was able to do my own taxes and feel confident in the results. However, the questions in the investment sale section were much harder to follow this year than previous years. I'm also disappointed to see how much the software increases in cost from year to year. All in all, a good product but getting more complicated and costly.
What's great about it: Brings forward basic info year to year, Feel confident in results
What's not so great: Price is up, not as easy to follow as previous years (although that may be new tax law)

The price for the program could have been lower or could include free state filing with the free federal filing. Overall easier to use than last years turbo tax.
