OK only if you don't input answers out of order

Sometimes it is virtually impossible to find a particular input screen if you want to return to it later. If you start from the beginning and go forward, all is fine. But once you've answered questions on some of the input screens you can never find them again, even if you start from the beginning of that section. It's as though once it's fill in, the information is stored and cannot be changed.
Also, going back to a section and changing a number does not always cause the change to "ripple through" the entire return, and you need to repeat every question (with the exception of the above noted problem).
What's great about it: automatically knows prior years
What's not so great: terrible if you go out of order

Turbo Terrific

I thought this version of Turbo Tax was their best version ever.
It was so easy to use and user friendly. Way to go Turbo Tax:)

TT Premier Review

I've used TurboTax Premier for approximately 17 years. This is the easiest year yet. I had no problems with the carry over information from last year or from any data that was imported from my financial institutions. The only info I had to enter manually was the amount of foreign income from which I paid foreign taxes (asked for by TT, but not on a 1099 DIV).
To summarize, good enough that I plan to use it again next year.
What's great about it: Importing data, carry over data from last year, ease of instructions
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy and Quick

Probably the quickest tax season for me since I was a teen. I did mostly the step-by-step approach. But when I skipped a section, it allowed me to go back easily and complete it.
I e-filed and that was quick and easy and inexpensive. I could have saved $15 by printing and sending in my forms. But that would have cost me almost as much in postage and printer ink. And if my time is worth anything - I'm way ahead.

What's great about it: Versatile and allowed me to choose how I approached my taxes

I HAD A BIT OF A HARD TIME FINDING WHERE I NEEDED TO ENTER THE EXPENSES FOR MY RENTAL PROPERTY BUT ONCE I FIGURED IT OUT IT WAS SMOOTH SAILING!

Excellent Tax Preparation program

I have been using TurboTax since 1982 when it was first available on 3.5 " disks . I am very satisfied with it and recommend to any one who wants to do it independently.
