Easy and convenient to use

What's great about it: offers options to zero in on specific items
What's not so great: Had to log in separately to "It's Deductible" to itemize charitable donations; not just to import data

Great Help

Turbo Tax was a great aid in keeping track of all itemized deductions, particularly non-cash valuations, as well as capital gains and losses to be carried forward. Form 8606 was also greatly simplified by Turbo Tax, as it needs carry forward data to be accessed each calendar year It greatly simplified my state return with all of its adjustments to the Federal return income..
What's great about it: Saved many complex calculations.
What's not so great: Has a minor problem handling 1099-Misc Income

I have had some problems, but not with Turbo Tax. They have helped me every step of the way when there were issues and helped me file corrected returns with information that I had not originally understood or was provided to me after everything was filed.
Their people were wonderful and helped me get everything corrected with the best benefit to me.

What's great about it: I have had issues in the past. Turbo Tax has not been the issue. They have been there for me.

2015 TurboTax Review

TurboTax consistently provides an easy to follow format that is clearly written and provides access to additional information all along the way. If you've kept good records throughout the year and have them readily accessible, it shouldn't take any more than a couple of hours to complete your return, assuming a moderately complex financial return.
What's great about it: Easy step-by-step instructions
What's not so great: Not always intuitive when looking back as to where to go to find certain things

Easiest Way to Do Taxes

It's so easy to do taxes when all the basic information is auto-filled, and many forms can be imported. I love the option of buying audit defense up front in case of random audits, and that TurboTax checks your taxes for mistakes and possible audit flags. If you enter your donations in It's Deductible throughout the year, you can import them all at once. If you keep a spreadsheet of medical expenses, it's easy to plug in the numbers at tax time. All that makes it an easy task, and gives you peace of mind.
What's great about it: Previous tax information auto-filled, no manual calculations
