Challenges with Turbo Tax after years of loyalty

Really disappointed in the Turbo Tax Premier product this year. I've been using it for 10+ years and had multiple crash events, (reported and unreported) there were challenges with capital gains, schedules C and D, etc, local taxes paid, etc. the application has gotten more difficult instead of improving
What's great about it: eventually it worked
What's not so great: it crashed multiple times and has gotten more and more difficult instead of improving

Complete and Easy

I have been using TurboTax for several years, and it seems to improve each time I use it. Whether my return is simple or complicated, the process is nearly always painless. I plan to continue to be a TurboTax customer for years to come.
What's great about it: The questions regarding items on the return are clear and easy to understand.
What's not so great: Sometimes explanations of special cases are too brief.

Makes year end tax preparation tolerable. Simple easy to use format. Has detailed explanations if needed.
What's great about it: easy TT asks all the questions in a simple understandable language

Great tax package, just one problem!

I tried to override the tuition/fees credit in order to take advantage of the tuition/fees deduction. After following instructions, it still didn't work! I hope that this can be fixed before my kid finishes college!
What's great about it: easy to enter data, great for donations
What's not so great: the tuition/fees deduction/credit still difficult to maneuver

One more time

being able to import last year's return is a definite plus.
I missed some details the first time through and had to go back multiple times to check and recheck items. with the added complexity of this year's return, the help feature was very, well, helpful. it helped guide me to find more information to complete that particular section. i used that feature a lot this year. having information on rental property from last year was most helpful, especially depreciation calculation done several years ago.

We have been using this product for several years and find it very helpful, with up to date information.
What's great about it: Return reviews before finishing
What's not so great: Some information did not carry forward (NJ IRA unrecovered contributions)
