Detailed Filing

Generally a good experience. But, you need to know some detail that you don't think about on a daily basis and you have to work through it and seek counsel when needed.
Have used TorboTax for 4-5 years and feel comfortable with hitting the "E-File" button!
What's great about it: Thorough & relatively easy
What's not so great: Some areas confusing and took multiple reviews

TT is excellent. Been using them now for a long time and they're quite reliable. I hate to think of all the programers with their noses to the grind during the prior year. I endured the thorough filing security and am thankful that they took this extra care for this tax payer.

I've been using this program for at least 15 years (can't remember when I didn't) and have never had a problem. If you can use a keyboard you can file your return!
What's great about it: Transfers last year's data
What's not so great: Alittle challenging for an older person when it comes to brokerage income but eventually figured it out.
