Superfast, Supereasy for a Simple Return

Was able to do my son's return accurately, quickly, and easily for both federal and state income taxes. Well under an hour for the job.
What's great about it: Accurate, Fast, Easy, Maximum Refund

Easy to use

I have been using Turbo Tax for 20+ years. I am familiar with how the program operates and only once have I had to struggle to find an answer. That did not occur this year.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

This year's version had some glitches on my return. I knew it wasn't calculating my dependents right, so I had to go back, delete them, re-enter them, then re-enter the information about their tuition, etc a second time.
It worked the second time, but it shouldn't have been necessary.

Get's better every year

I have a fairly complicated tax sutuation with multiple K-1s. Turbo Tax is quick and easy, and gets easier each year.
What's great about it: Easier and quicker each year
What's not so great: First year is a bit of a learning curve

Easy way to file taxes

Turbotax is the easiest way to do your taxes. It walks you through everything with easy to understand language so you know you didn't miss anything. If you have a problem it is answered by their kind staff or an accountant depending on your question.
What's great about it: Good customer support, super simply to follow
What's not so great: The prices keep going up.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Totally Frustrated

Been working for two days to resolve a problem with verification codes. Specialist finally downloaded the software to me,I re-entered all my data for the second time only to encounter an error when I tried to efile my returns. This has been totally frustrating and I need this issue resolved. Also I want at least a partial refund of the cost of the software in compensation for all the problems I have encountered.
What's great about it: Easy to fill out the forms
What's not so great: Impossible to file

Could not run on Windows7

Both last year and this year I had to use someone else's computer to complete my taxes, since it would not run on Windows 7. I note that others have had this same problem.

Retirement Info Placement

I still like usinf turbo tax - but now that iam retired - I found trying to answer your questions confusing. It was easier when I had a W-2 form.
What's great about it: was going smoothly until I came to the section regarding CSA-1099R
What's not so great: Found CSA1099R section confusing. Many of the questions should be in laymen terms. Even the Ask a question was clear
