Turbo Tax- Premier

Long Time user, have used other company's software and came back the following year. The other company's software and process was difficult.
What's great about it: The step by step process makes it easy to prepare your taxes
What's not so great: The constant updates when opening the program.

simplifies my life

If you have hesitated to use Turbo rather than a tax service, rest assured that Turbo is easy and thorough. The ease of navigation from the interview to viewing the actual forms is most reassuring. Turbo will import this year's info onto next year's and will import your tax forms from most of the major investment firms. My tax savvy brother recommended Turbo years ago and every year it gets better and I stress less.
What's great about it: easy download, good explanations, imports info avoiding tedious copying
What's not so great: This year it forgot to ask about % of US obligations nontaxable in my state.

What's great about it: GOOD STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
What's not so great: ADDITIONAL CLARITY AND DEPTH ON RETIRMENT DISTRUBTIONS EXAMPLE ROLLING OVER TO AN IRA. ONLY TWO OPTIONS WERE ROTH 401K

Some Unexpected Hiccups

I've been using TT for years without any problems. This year I never could not find my 2014 return. I starts my 2015 return twice and saved before completion. Then when I reopened them later there was no data. This never happened in prior years. I still like the program.
What's great about it: Fast, Complete

So easy!

I am in my late 70s and have retirement, investment, and deductions related to my taxes. Once I receive all my information, I am able to enter data, double check information, and complete my return in one day. I love it!
What's great about it: Cross-check on work forms; review feature, error check, e-filing.

I will use Turbo Tax next year.
What's great about it: Most everything was clear to follow
What's not so great: I had trouble working through reporting the exercise of my Non qualified stock option

Excellent Tax Program

TT is easy to use and very user friendly. I did not have any problems. Transfer of data from pervious year was very seamless. Everything is designed out very logically. Lots of information and reference material if any questions. Been using TT for many years and am always satisfied. Got a very good refund too.
What's great about it: Easy to use, good community forum, well designed, no issues, very helpful.
What's not so great: None
