What's great about it: Easy to use. Always accurate and handles messy items such as rentals.
What's not so great: Printing foms has become a pain. Why go through so many steps?

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 15 years. I recommend it to individuals who don't have a full grasp on preparing their own return. This program leads you through the process without making you think you've missed something. Doing your return, by hand these days, is passe. With all the changes in the laws and multiple forms to compute, you're likely to get frustrated and file an inaccurate return. Turbo Tax offers an accuracy guaranteed feature, as well as an audit risk rating based on the difficulty of your completed return, which gives you a sense of confidence when it's time to efile or mail your returns. I'm also a Turbo Tax Advantage Member, which makes the task of purchasing the next year's program easy with an email reminder that it's on it's way.
What's great about it: Easy to move around in the program to enter information pertinent for my return.
What's not so great: None

Confidence in Turbo Tax

I've been using the Turbo Tax Program now for many years
after preparing taxes by hand previously. The program's layout
and ease of preparation give me great confidence every year.

Very quick and easy to use with very helpful instructions all along the way.
What's great about it: Very easy to use.
What's not so great: Sometime instructions a little hard to follow i.e, rental property for portion of year and then sold same year.

Wife passed last year. TurboTax downloaded, adjusted, and placed my income and I didnt have to research where to put it. TurboTax was accurate and quick. Did my whole return including miscellaneous document search in 3 hours. Got a pleasant surprise when I learned of refunds for both State and Federal.
What's great about it: TurboTax did as they advertise

Can do it all in one sitting. Just have all the records handy. Importing from partners is extremely handy! If you e-file right away, e-check pay, You're cone!
What's great about it: Excellent step by step
What's not so great: sometimes hangs on a glitch - like won't log on to acct. & pswd reset doesn't work.
