Quick and easy!

Very easy to use, need for review easy to get to. Made inputting information exceptionally easy.
What's great about it: Turbo tax is so easy to use...once you have all required tax information

Couldn't print with Mac

All forms printed with Mac had boxes instead of number values.
Found fix on "ask the community". Had to go into "font book" and choose "resolve automatically" to correctly print my return.
Thought I'd lost all my return data. Stressed out!

Final disposition of LLC on K1 required help of "Talk to Expert". Expert was very good and resolved problem, but 2 hour wait horrendous! TT did not guide me thru additional steps for final disposition of LLC. I almost lost $2,500 because my losses were not applied against my gain. Could not have done it with TT alone. Needed Expert.
What's great about it: Perfect results if inputs perfect. Expert phone help was excellent.
What's not so great: K1 prompts inadequate. Had to wait two hours to Talk to Expert.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Really like Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax since the late 90's for personal as well as business (up to five schedule Cs). Back in the mid 70's I paid for a so-called Executive Tax Service and found that all they did was record the figures that I had already compiled. For the next 20 or so years I would get all the IRS publications and send countless hours reading and digesting them until a friend turned me onto Turbo Tax in the late 90's. It is so much easier to let the experts at Turbo Tax do all of the research and just answer the questions as I go through Turbo Tax. Thank you Turbo Tax
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None that I can think of.

One Small Defect

Overall, and excellent experience, as usual. The only defect is that on both the Federal and State forms, if "0." is entered in one of the fields #don't remember which#, it will reject the answer during the reviews of each form or ask for a distribution of the "0.". The only way out is to enter the line and delete the "0." and leave it blank/empty.
What's great about it: Asks the right questions at the right time
What's not so great: Would not tolerate zeroes in some fields.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy, thorough, confident

I love how the interview walks the user through every likely tax situation, provides help and prompts and then reviews all the information before checking for errors or possible problems. I also like the ability to save a PDF file of the documents.
