Was fairly easy

8.5 out of 10. Every field and form should show last years entries at all times
What's great about it: Speed, import last years return
What's not so great: Home Office deduction not intuitive at all, had to re-enter a lot
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Entries for stock from RSUs and ESPP are complicated, and downloaded data did not match 1099-B
What's great about it: easy efile, prompts based on last years return
What's not so great: entering stock sales, charged me twice for audit defense

I've been a long time satisfied user of TurboTax. This year, the first time, I found a gap. I wanted to enter unqualified moving expenses as income but could not find help, advice. Only after some research and tries I was able to do it under other income. The application should have verified in this year return if I met the time test of moving expenses that I entered in last year's return.
What's great about it: User freindly
What's not so great: Not comprehensive

What's great about it: Easy to use because it's user friendly and complete.
What's not so great: The 1099S exercise was exactly that since there was no specifically designed form for 1099S copy C.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo tax is easy to use and enter. Premier made rent and royalties easier than the old deluxe. I have used turbotax for
several years and it has been fun correct. Since myself and
wife are both retired we like the way directions are easy to read.

What's not so great: the expense of another state filing when I just have to use numbers from my 1040.

i love turbo tax, never did me wrong, so i'm sure they will figure this one out. i hope i haven't, but it feels like i just paid for turbo tax 3 times. other than that , every thing runs great.
