It seemed to take for ever for the updates to load and even longer for them to install.

Tax return made easy

Purchased the premier and it made entering my investment information much quicker. Used TurboTax for the second year and I plan to do the same in 2016.

Moving between States? No Problem!

Two very noteworthy items here.
The integration with It's Deductible is amazing. The way that has evolved over the years becoming so seamless. Such a great way to coordinate all your charitable giving and then import them with a simple click or two.
This year we moved between states for a job change. Turbo tax walked me through the process to determine eligibility. Extremely Easy. If you are not sure if you qualify, let Turbo Tax walk you through it. It could save you a significant amount of money, thus increasing your refund. That's the whole point, right. Only give Uncle Sam what he is due and not on penny more?
The questions that Turbo Tax asks you to determine which states the income and deduction applied to was very helpful. I ended up creating a spreadsheet sheet to keep track of the division of income and deductions based on date of residency change. I recommend you do that ahead of time so you don't have to stop and do that when you get to the states section. This is the only negative I found was not being prepared when I got to the states.
I have been a Turbo Tax users for at least 20 years. Each year they find a way to improve on the year before. Great job Intuit for making taxes so easy.
What's great about it: We moved to another state and got to claim the Moving Expense. TT made it very easy to understand.
What's not so great: Lack of instructions up front to be prepared to divide income/deductions between states based on move date

Turbo Tax is excellent for the season professional and the annual amateur. Either follow there lead wish all the questions a tax professional will ask you or go directly to the forms you know.
What's great about it: Easy to use
