Consistent, Complete, Stress Relieving

Continued use of TurboTax because it works. Glad this service is available. Previously paid tax preparer more $ for less complicated returns.
What's great about it: covers everything. thorough yet flexible
What's not so great: form search for K-1

Excellent Tax Software

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1987. It is an excellent tax software package. As a former tax auditor for the government, I am familiar with many tax packages, and no other package comes anywhere near beating Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy and Simple to Use

Importing Prior Year Data

When finishing E-Filing, System ONLY offers two options: PRINT or SAVE AS PDF!!!
What's great about it: It would be very helpful to track previous years (five year period)
What's not so great: System does not indicate that return MUST BE SAVED AS a .taxfile instead of .pdf

Saving 2 files - then only the oldest one??

Unlike the error-free use in previous years, 2 files were always saved, then only the oldest of the 2. The required me to amend the oldest file to include the latest data.
What's great about it: Easy to use as in previous 10 years

Never Again

Features in the PC are not available on the Mac, especially bases for computed fields and source of data for many fields; Intuit did not readily support questions related to use on a Mac, even though they did try.
What's great about it: Easy download of financial information; quickly prepares schedules, especially "SCHEDULE D"
What's not so great: Does not work well on a Mac; lacks support for Mac

Possible glitch

I had a problem with the Schedule B interview not being correctly reflected on the Schedule B worksheet. An interest adjustment for accrued interest on bonds is not mentioned in the interview question even though it is one of the adjustment options in the worksheet. I had to use "other" as the reason for the adjustment to get the correct result on the Schedule B of the form 1040.
What's great about it: Input immediately computed showing tax refund/tax owing.
What's not so great: Schedule B interest interview and/or worksheet need a fix
