So easy, anyone can do it!

I always thought our taxes were too complicated to do on our own with income and expenses from multiple sources, and what always seemed like a ton of schedules our accountant prepared for us. We dutifully signed them without really understanding them.
We started using TurboTax several years ago and I feel so much more empowered now. Sadly, I now realize that there were deductions we did not receive over the years because I didn't know about them and our accountant didn't think to ask.
I love how you can import pertinent documents like investment statements and W2's, and import all your charitable contributions from "It's Deductible". It makes it so much easier to keep track of them throughout the year, and it uploads all your info from last year for a side by-side comparison.
Great job TurboTax!
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, clearly written, truly exceptional user experience!
What's not so great: I wish I had started using TurboTax decades ago!

Love the Brokerage download feature

All worked well except one issue did get the error to clear eventually thru a work around. Might have been a brokerage issue instead of a turbotax issue
What's great about it: All entries for LT gains and ST gains are automatic
What's not so great: Got hung up on "Google rename"
