Tax Filing Pain Relief

Every year Turbo Tax makes filing easier! The format is organized and easy to follow - you can actually see the logic behind what you are filing.
What's great about it: Easy to follow format. Great for organizing all the tax forms received
What's not so great: No complaints or recommended changes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love Turbotax

I really like using TurboTax for my returns. They make it easy to import information and easy to file. It works really well for those who take standard deductions and do not have special tax situations. The only thing that could be better is the "Help" section where it describes what the question is about.
What's great about it: easy to use, fast, accurate
What's not so great: Some help questions could be better

Need to look at Military retirees income subtractions (Maryland Form 502SU). Presently you do not address code u - maybe other codes for income subtractions as well? I had to override.
What's great about it: Very confident with Federal accuracy
What's not so great: Lack of confidence in State accuracy

I am a multiyear user and find TT very easy to use and covers everything very well, BUT each year I use it I am amazed as to why it keeps asking about state taxes processing. The State is provided in the initial data capture, therefor, if my state doesn't have state income tax, the system should know it and skip any state process. Or, if you don't know this info, ask me one time and I will tell you.
What's great about it: Easy to use, comprehensive, covers all.
What's not so great: Federal Only Processing

I've been using TurboTax for many years and there is no reason to change. It's simple and easy. E-filing is easy.

Great program

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and wouldn't use any other program, nor would I pay a tax preparer. The way they can go in and import info from your broker and other institutions is amazing. Were it not for that, I would be lost.. I'm an old retired lady but Turbo tax makes it easy, even for me.

What's not so great: can't think of any

I LIKE TURBO TAX. IT IS EASY AND COMPREHENSIVE. THE ONLY PROBLEM THAT I SEE IS THAT STATE AND FEDERAL ARE FREE TO EFILE ONLINE BUT THE PROGRAM HAS YOU PAYING FOR THE STATE TO BE FILED AND ONLY SO MANY FEDERAL RETURNS. IT WOULD BE NICE IF IT WERE FREE ON THE PROGRAM AS WELL.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE
What's not so great: STATE IS FREE ON THE WEBSITE BUT NOT IN THE PROGRAM
