Premier Version

1st year containing so many changes to the code, thus additional forms needed to be processed.
Even having to use more forms and thus more time, still a great program.
Have used since way back when the program was 1st made (Parsons) , have seen and compared many along the way, but feel that Intuit has the edge on product stability and reliability.
Will continue using for the foreseeable future..
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use as long as you have all your supporting data ready avaible.
What's not so great: Price point

Turbo tax makes it easy

I have used Turbo tax for many years. I feel confident and safe filing through Turbo tax as it is all done off line until you file versus doing a return totally on line where it is more vulnerable to being hacked. I save everything on a usb flash drive and then I have my information from previous tax returns that is carried over onto the current return.
What's great about it: Turbo tax makes it so easy to go through each category
What's not so great: Sometimes, I still get a little confused but i always find the answer

So easy and fast

I've used TurboTax for 10 years. Each year the software seems to get better. Easier for me to input information. Easier for me to file. I will continue to use TurboTax!
What's great about it: Loved "guided tour" feature
What's not so great: Nothing

I use to do taxes by hand many years ago but I would never go back to doing that ever again and one year we took our tax papers to a tax person to do and he came up with the same forms and figures and returns I had already done on Turbo tax so I trust it
