Great Help

I had a loss that was not obvious how to use. Had well over an hour wait to reach a top level support person. She walked me through the process and I saved over $1,500 on my taxes for this year. She also showed me how I can carry forward the additional deduction as well. Fantastic!!!
What's great about it: The Phone support was great!
What's not so great: Long wait time on phone.

I had a very complex tax year, but TurboTax provided all the help I needed to compl;ate both Federal and state forms. This included multiple IRA and retirement forms and all investment forms.
What's great about it: covered all circumstances that i needed, prepared all forms I needed
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I moved

A very good investment if you are a do it yourselfer. I can do my own taxes and it helps me stay on focus with my investment program

i did my taxes at H&R office for 3 years , then tried to do it myself given that all required documents are available online now.
I am happy I did so - it is much cheaper, convenient and EASIER than go to the office.

Overall, I have few complaints with the TT Premier software. I did find that the program did not accurately upload some data from the previous year. These were easily caught and fixed by switching to, reviewing, and correcting the data in the "Forms" view. Downloading bank, investment and W-2 entries was fast and accurate.
For direct deposit, the program offered several accounts to transfer my refunds (Fed and State), but not the account I directed it to in 2014. This is a minor gripe, as you simply enter the account information manually.
So overall, TT Premier worked as expected. I will continue to use it in the future.
What's great about it: Step by step, easy to follow interface
What's not so great: Some information not uploaded from FY 2014
