2015 Turbo Tax

Other than an update problem trying to start a new return and having to repair it. A good product.

This product is way confusing, why don't you have just one package? I bought deluxe but needed premier. Taxact has all the features for a lot less cost. Guess I will be using them from now on.
What's great about it: not much
What's not so great: expensive, brought the wrong package at first

the forms and easy step are easy to navigate , every thing seems to tie and work well. Really glad there is software like TT to navigate 1040and its twists and turns
What's not so great: state of Ohio instructions and help is Iffy at best . You really need to upgrade ,
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Quick and efficient

Overall an excellent product. Great speeds for downloading outside information. Saves time. Easy to file.
What's great about it: excellent instructions, easy to follow, downloads info from other sources
What's not so great: when listing items manually the pages keeps scrolling up and you have to readjust the page.

Turbotax Gets Easier Every Year!

The best feature of TurboTax for us is the fact that you do not have to re-enter all of the 1099's, Interest and Dividend Payers, etc. every year. Since most of our stuff stays the same - we just import the forms from last year and update the new amounts for those forms and voila - we are done! Especially loved the fact that with my new pension in 2015, TurboTax was easily able to calculate the taxable amount of my pension income as I had made after tax contributions to the pension which were not taxable. Coolest thing ever..... Also love the ease of the state return. NO work at all...
What's great about it: New types of income and other changes are easily incoporated!
What's not so great: Nada

Easy to Use!

Having used Turbo Tax for the third year, I have confidence in it's guidance throughout the process. There are also many prompts that explain the questions I had on particular topics. I used to use H&R Block, but now that we are retired our return is quite a bit simpler, so Turbo Tax works for us.
What's great about it: Guides you all the way through.
