Every year I do this I get better and more confident using it. Don't be afraid....jump right in and TurboTax will guide you and find any "oops" you will make.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use. Leads to thru the process.
What's not so great: Makes me think more then a retired old guy should.

I retired at the end of last year and moved, changing states, in the middle of this year. Keeping track of all the records and allocating income between the states was somewhat of a problem.
What's great about it: Received a great refund.
What's not so great: Record keeping somewhat of a problem.

Found 2 separate issues related to immutable forms while preparing my taxes which resulted in manual data reentry of data that was downloaded from financial institutions. Spent many hours trying to work around these issues and 2 hours waiting to speak with someone in customer support who ultimately asked me to delete the transactions and re-enter them.
What's great about it: Accurate, Previous year import, prior year side-by-side compare
What's not so great: Price, Buggy

uploaded k-1 information from tdameritrade that I sold the previous tax year. It wouldn't let me file. Took too long to figure out how to delete the form.

Have used Turbo Tax for years and will never use another tax preparer! So many helps in the program and so easy to have previous years tax info auto filled.
