my return has been rejected several times, I was not informed about pin, I called IRS and got pin numbers, and made corrections but still it is being rejected, I will have to mail my returns even after I paid for state return, will I get this money back?

Hangs up whole process when trying to print tax forms or create a PDF.
possibly because my PC is still XP
Have used Turbo Tax for many years without this problem.
What's great about it: relatively easy to enter data
What's not so great: cannot print final document or get PDF

I love Turbo tax - very user friendly and prompts for all the info. I always feel confident that I have accounted for everything.
What's great about it: easy, prompts for all the info
What's not so great: doesn't save all the answers, especially to the yes/no questions, so when you review you have to make sure and re-answer
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax used again & again & again....

Used Turbo Tax for quite a number of years. Like it's user friendly programs and you're walked through all of the steps. It even re-reviews and it's quite easy to go back and correct. I used a different computer this year and couldn't pull up last years returns so I had to manually transpose the info. Not sure what I did wrong but another season done and over with. Thanks again Turbo Tax
What's great about it: Easy to use, walks you through all the steps as well as re-review
What's not so great: Couldn't open last years return...must have been a mistake I made

What's not so great: Typing in same information

Online version has flaws
on February 22, 2016

I've used TurboTax for years, and overall have been satisfied. This year was different. I ran into a specific problem (summary: needed to elect to treat a portion of my capital gains or qualified dividends as ordinary investment income to offset investment interest, which Form 4952 (line g) allows)). I could find no way in the online version (Premier level) to do this. I posted to the online forums, and got a wrong answer from TurboTax. (They asserted, wrongly, that the software would automatically ask me about the issue when I entered my investment interest.) I tried to use the forums to point out that the answer was wrong, but met with no success. I spent way too much time searching for the answer both within the TurboTax forums and elsewhere on the internet. Finally, I used the online help feature. After being on hold for an hour, I was put in touch with a CPA who works for TurboTax. He spent about an hour trying to solve the problem before finally admitting that it cannot be solved in the online version. On the bright side, he verified that it is actually quite easy to address this issue in the desktop version of TurboTax, and he provided me with the desktop version for free, showed me how to transfer my return from the online version to the desktop version, and the problem was solved. So I would give a high rating to the CPA who helped me, but a low rating to TurboTax for including inaccurate information in their online forums and for having online software that has this flaw. It also makes me wonder what else TurboTax is missing...
What's great about it: Easy to use, reasonably thorough
What's not so great: Online software has flaws that miss opportunities to save money; solving problem takes investment of many hours
