Rocked my Tax experience

Last year the Turbo tax was so complicated and did not function as smoothly as i was use to. Tax changes, etc. I had to call and did not have any resolution found. I had to file hard copies of my return which I have not done in a long while. Ended us paying more taxes than would have I believe. This year it was smooth sailing as normal. Thanks for making changes this year.
What's great about it: Quick helps and easy to find solutions

This makes it easy to file your taxes because it asks questions and guided you through the steps to enter all your information.
Did have a problem trying to enter my deductions against my Form 1099 Misc. This should be part of the deductions section like it used to be and not show up when they are running a review of your taxes.
What's great about it: Most questions are easy to understand and comply.
What's not so great: 1099 Misc Deduction section is not easy to find.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Not as good as previous years.

Two key things that annoyed me. First, I had a Roth IRA distribution of only the amount that i had deposited after tax. The summary pages in TT showed this as retirement income. It was income when I earned it and deposited it in my account, but that base deposit is not now considered income. Very confusing. I had to look at the actual tax forms to make sure. Second, after e-filing the federal, i went back to print out the state for filing, and it is very difficult to get there without going through the federal filing section first. I have never had a problem with TT bugs in years past. Disappointing!
What's great about it: Downloading to my computer
What's not so great: clumsy iterations to print out state forms for filing
Pros: I bought or sold investments
