Great Tax Program!

I liked using this years Turbo Tax (Premium edition). Each year it gets a bit easier. Thank you for that. I would recommend Turbo Tax to anyone.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, fast to rpocess.
What's not so great: Finding Account info not so easy for CC payments.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Interactive Walkthrough of Return was Terrible

The walk me through everything feature in the 2015 software was terrible. I have used Turbo Tax to complete my tax filings which includes multiple state filings every year for the past 15 years. This year, the walk me through feature skipped key entry points and made the completion of the tax returns difficult and frustrating. The software skipped PY W-2s, as well as the allocation of wages for the NYS return. I was not pleased with Turbo Tax this year.

2015 Turbo Tax was straightforward

8th year using Turbo Tax. Investments and 2nd home sale required upgrade to Premier. Handling of vacation home sale was straightforward. Finding, understanding and filing form 8949 was more troublesome.
Final check, audit review and electronic filing were again easy.

What's great about it: Navigation through system was easy
What's not so great: Locating and filing form 8949 was not as clear as desired

TurboTax Premier - It does the job

I use TurboTax as it's the least painful way to do my taxes, or at least from what I've found to date. The only knock I have to give them is that the sate tax section is very lagging, it makes you find and enter things manually that it should automatically input from the previous years return. I find this a pain each and every year, and every year I hope they fix it just to find it's not.
Oh well, maybe it will get better next year, but I doubt it will......
What's great about it: It's easy to carry over data year to year
What's not so great: It doesn't cover everything needed and state is very lacking

I found Turbo Tax easy to follow and use. The instructions are clear and concise as are the drop down explanations for the various types of deductions or income.
What's great about it: Easy to use, covered all elements I needed
What's not so great: HAd a little difficulty finding some elements manually
