Another year done

Another painless year of filing besides the one 'con' mentioned previously. I hope next year, when I have some out of the ordinary transactions to accommodate, will be as painless as this year.
What's great about it: The ease of the document completion with the step by step process
What's not so great: State tax program couldn't be e-filed due to too many entries on my W2 in the 12 Box area

Use it every year without worry of audit problems

Lots of help and answers when you need them. I was able to do this without asking for additional help. I like the fact that I could stop for any reason and it picked up where I left off. Just took hours to finish. And I was using Primer because of rental deductions. A major remodel of the rental with many bills and other bills. It was a snap!
What's great about it: Easy to use moves along as fast as you can go
What's not so great: HMMMM! Can't find one.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used TurboTax for several years now. The transfer of information from last year's files is precise and fast. The program also notified me of a couple things I missed or forgot. Overall I am very happy with this program.
What's great about it: use of last year's info for prep and review
What's not so great: need to stabilize price

I feel confident that my return worked out as planned. I had done some pre-planning with a tax consultant and the plan worked.
What's great about it: Makes you think of things you would probably miss if doing manually
What's not so great: Multiple states get confusing in trying to divide up investments even though sale dates were listed.

I am an active options trader, the Premier version is great. I don't think I will ever file using any other tool.

A lot simplier

I purchased a DVD copy in a store. Turbo Tax loaded easily, downloaded its updates and was ready to go. TT removed the wasted marketing personality in its introduction. Also TT got rid of most of the deceptive marketing ploys that tried to con you into buying something else.
What's great about it: SW more straight to the point. Easy to move around and not get lost.

Premium saved me days on my taxes

I typically take a few days to work out details with my taxes. There is always something different in the forms, details you need, questions I need more help on, etc. Not this year! It took me longer to get my documentation sorted out than it did to do my taxes!!! I highly recommend the product and the Premium edition if you own rental property.
What's great about it: Setup with easy; Everything imported from last year; Fast; Accurate
What's not so great: NONE
