Great software

What's great about it: Very easy to use. I've been using Turbo Tax for many years, and it is one of the simplest packages I've used!
What's not so great: Wish they'd build the price of a state e-file into the price of the software.

Just right!

Of course my tax is rather simple. I am retired from work. I trust Turbotax to do my tax correctly and have for years.
What's great about it: Easy. Fast.
What's not so great: can't think of any...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

awesome and even easier this year than my first year - last year. they had all the depreciation info which really was helpful to me and it was soooo much better this year, thanks!

What's not so great: ONLY 1 FREE STATE RETURN SHOULD HAVE AS MANY AS THE FEDERAL TAXES

Confussion

when doing the 1099-Misc for royalty for oil/gas. it keeps wanting to add the income as a personal business.

Very Good except for 1 small bug

I have use TurboTax for at least 20 years and it is a great tool that makes it easy to file your taxes. Most of the time the step-by-step (question/answer) mode handles everything. This year I had one very complex situation involving the sale of employee stock RSU's. The step-by-step generated an error in the forms that I had to correct in Form mode. Otherwise everything went very smooth. Despite the small glitch I am a very satisfied customer.
What's great about it: Completed 99% of my return with step-by-step
What's not so great: Had to use Forms mode to fix a bug in Employee stock sales
