I've used Turbo Tax for many years and have always been pleased with the product.

Put the fun in taxes!

This program was easy to use and guided me through a complex tax return. I had as much fun as you can have doing my taxes this year. Look forward to using TurboTax next year.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Fun and exciting.
What's not so great: Putting publication numbers with the respective areas would help.

Restricted Share Unit award

This was my first year to have sold Restricted Share Units stock award from my employer. TT made it very easy and understandable for inputting the information needed to handle this transaction. I was concerned that it would be more complicated and I would need to seek a tax professional for this years return but that was not the case. Thanks TT.

Simple, Quick, Easy

The program was great and simple. I've used Turbo Tax for years and have probably used Tax Act twice. Each year that I did that, I've regretted it. This year as we did last year we opted for the Premier edition due to some small amounts of stock that we bought. Not a tax expert, Turbo Tax imported all of the information and my understanding level was reduced to insignificant. What a time saving pleasure to use Turbo Tax to do our return.
What's great about it: Investments made easy
What's not so great: W2's would not import from ADP

Quick and easy but need improving

The 2015 tax return did not import my 2014 W2 - had to enter all over again.

Easy and leaves me confident

I am a pretty capable person when it comes to understanding taxes. I hold a Certified Financial Planner® designation, but understanding the tax rules and filling out the government's complicated tax forms are two different things. Things like employee stock purchase plans, rolling over 529 plans, and college scholarships can be really tricky and TurboTax gave me complete confidence that the right numbers are on the right forms.
