Have been using Turbo Tax for several years and believe it to be thorough and reliable. The auto input of brokerage info really takes the anxiety out of that process. The "sales tax" query reminded me of our car purchase - I might have overlooked the sales tax deduction otherwise. The whole process took just 3 hrs. Thanks for making an arduous task tolerable. Wish I could be more upbeat and effusive - but it's tax filing - so hard to feel the happy. See you next year.

Excellent program

Overall: Excellent. Suggestion: Clarify issue concerning no RMD required for immediate annuities within an IRA shell.
What's great about it: Clearly written instructions; excellent user interface
What's not so great: Expensive e-filing fee for state; expensive to deduct filing fee from tax return
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Very good product this year. Last year (2014) is the only year I've run into a few gliches and they seem to have been fixed. I've been using TurboTax over a decade and this year was another good experience.
What's great about it: Very logical.

Great Software

I have used TurboTax for several years and have it easy accurate to use. I do not very complicated return, but it is not just an easy return either and TurboTax helps me in all the areas I need to be guided in. I plan to use it again next year.
What's great about it: Easy to use, can use guided or just fill in the area you need
What's not so great: I do not have any cons

It gets better every year

I admit to having a relatively simple tax situation, nevertheless, I know the kinds of problems I would have interpreting the tax laws without TT's marvelous help. I have appreciated TT's assistance for many years and Intuit keeps finding ways to improve the interface.
What's great about it: Makes a very tedious job almost fun to do.
What's not so great: Organizing the paperwork to do it.
