The program is user friendly and easy to use. It is however slow to boot up and slow to work with.

Glad to use TT Premier again for 2015

Every year for going on 10 now, happy to buy and use TT Premier. Helpful to already know some mental shortcuts for driving around it, such as into forms mode and back. Usually skip detailed interview and work on what I want. Still annoying (a) having to repeat many questions when reviewing some specific areas (stepping through multiple screens), and (b) true user interface or other bugs still buried deep within certain areas; see my recent AnswerXChange postings.
What's great about it: 99% excellent user interface and results.
What's not so great: A few bugs still lurk in dark corners, and UI could be better.

Filing with Confidence

I find TurboTax to be a thorough and detailed way to file my taxes. Because it is so thorough I am confident that my taxes are correct and filed in a timely manner.
What's great about it: Detailed review of potential income and deductions

Acceptable, but could easily be better

I believe that the software is fairly comprehensive, but it does not quite complete the job of walking you through everything. I like the times where it asks if you have a certain situation or not. That is easy to answer, but then when it gives you a list of items to choose whether or not they apply, it is not straightforward. The application would be much better if it literally asked you every single question for all situations that could exist and explained each one as it did. Without that, I always feel as if I may have missed something. I have confidence in the sections where I was queried, but less confidence on the areas where it was left up to me to figure it out.
What's great about it: Fairly straightforward user interface
What's not so great: Does not walk you through everything

Overall as a 10+ year user of TurboTax I could not be too much more satisfied with its ease of operation and logical progressions of instructions.
What's great about it: Ease of completing tax filing forms.
What's not so great: Hate helps that say, "contact program admistrator."

My surprise

Previously I prepared my taxes manually and it took weeks to enter and check to be sure I had everything. Turbo Tax guides you through everything you need and it's even easier for me than going to a tax preparer..........I've done it all!!
What's great about it: Automatically transfers info needed to State forms
What's not so great: nothing

User Friendly

Love the import function. Can investments through brokers like Edward Jones be covered with Deluxe? I bought Premier this year because I was unclear. Maybe a little clarity on what is covered would help me. Deluxe always worked before but I'm not sure now.
What's great about it: Keeps it as simple as the tax code will let it
What's not so great: Not sure if Deluxe that I usually use could have done the job. Just needed investments covered. Bought Premier just in
