Great for Stocks, Post tax and IRA's

Great software with e-filing. Each year it gets easier and faster. We have used TurboTax for the last three years and have been very satisfied with the results, even when we had to pay. Auto-entry of all of the stock data is fabulous because hand entry of each twelve to twenty-two page form is tedious.
What's great about it: Imports all stock data from banks, etc.
What's not so great: Wish ther were a way to auto-enter medicals

Excellent Product

I have been using turbo tax for the past seven years and the 2015 package have been very much improved. turbo tax takes the work out of filing taxes. I like the comparison feature of last years taxes to the current year. It is an excellent tool to make sure nothing is overlooked. Thank you for a great product.
What's great about it: Inputing data is easy, All calculations are done for me, and on-line filing is a great feature.
What's not so great: none

2015 Tax Experience

Overall a very good program. The questions lead one through all the complex tax forms and regulations so the process is quite easy for the average taxpayer. The cost of TurboTax is getting up there a bit, but still the program is good.
What's great about it: Did not need complete tax knowledge - TurboTax had that.
What's not so great: Did not have good solution to Minnesota's different handling of Social Security payments compared to federal handling.

not filled out tax return in 50 + years--and not being computer smart, I had a hard time with it. If I don't forget what I did this time next year might be easier, I hope. It is doable but not easy.
What's great about it: end results
What's not so great: hard to understand at 1st
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Since I've been doing this for a number of years, generally it's not too hard. But there are still things unclear or that you really don't want users to use! Not easy to find how to talk to someone. Not easy to navigate printing for my record or for submission to tax agencies. Yeah, I get that you want everyone to file electronically, but please make it easy for those of us who prefer paper filing.
What's great about it: Downloading investment info
What's not so great: Some things unclear as usual

I have used Turbo-Tax for probably 10 years and it has made income tax filing a "snap"! It addresses all the required forms as needed. It seems that it anticipates all the angles without a hassle. Keep up th good work!
What's great about it: Intuitve & predictable
What's not so great: None
