Outstanding Tax Prep softwear !!

Very good program wish I did it this way a looong time ago. Would have saved a ton of money and time !!!
What's great about it: Easy to use , great to stay at home, no appointments needed !!!!
What's not so great: A little hard to navigate at first but once you figure it out not too bad at all...

Easier to use

I found the product much improved and easier to use, especially with regard to the HSA items.
What's great about it: Much improved from previous versions
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Costs are increasing and not comparable to other competitor taxware. No access to "tax documents"...
What's great about it: Walk thru method of Questions; all documents in one place
What's not so great: endless loops without explanation of problem
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Anyone can do this

I suppose there must be people who actually need a tax man, but this program seems to cover just about everything I can think of. The hardest part of doing taxes is finding the documents. With Turbo tax you just answer the questions and it does everything for you. What's not to like?
What's great about it: Do it yourself - no finding and waiting for tax pro

Overall this program is again the easiest way for me to file taxes - simple, asks the right questions, can use the help feature to find out answers to questions.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions
What's not so great: Sometime difficult to go back to a section

Overdone

I anticipated investment selling as last year and it didn't happen. I ended up with too high a level software package, which I realized too late to change. Will try to do better next year.
What's great about it: Efficient
What's not so great: I ordered too high on this years software.

Utopia of Tax Software

I have been using Turbo tax for almost 8 years now and every year I get more amazed at the greatness and simplicity of use it provides. I actually have gained a lot of confidence and knowledge over the years just by using Turbo Tax, and now I do some friends and families taxes also. No matter what the tax situation, income levels, or complexities Turbo Tax is the Utopia and pinnacle of Tax Software!
What's great about it: East to use, Walks your through everything you could imagine
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments
