3rd year for using TurboTax. As usual very efficient and complete.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow the guided steps.
What's not so great: This year did not direct me to State Sales tax deduction for TN

One place was after entering 1099 misc and saying no to another and no other income and it looped back to asking for another 1099 misc.
What's great about it: Used Turbo for 10 years but this year was worst experience.
What's not so great: 2 places where it looped back because program had not been tested properly.

This was my first year using the software. It took much longer to complete than expected. I will stick with it again for next year. Hopefully it will be faster and the checkout process will be fixed. I like the guidance in valuing charitable contributions.
What's great about it: nice guidance through most of the tax prep procedure with understandable directions.
What's not so great: installation process less clear. Checkout very unclear, difficult, and time consuing

Fast, simple and thorough

Bought this at Costco where it said the state filing was included but I had to pay to file my state taxes afterall....
Year after year though I trust my filing to TT and haven't been let down. Stick with what works.

Taxes Done Easy

I've done my family's tax returns #4# with Turbo Tax now for more than 10 years. I would never tackle tax return preparation without it.
What's great about it: Transfers prior years data
What's not so great: Would like to be able to "print screen."
