The software does not provide a tool for estimating next years taxes if income changes are expected.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall, I will use this again! My biggest concern was the challenge we had with 1099-R (total income was very unclear and it was a common concern with comments online). This caused us more time not realizing that information was not transferred to our actual 1040. This should be explained in the process. Second, was the Schedule K and not clearly understanding some of the questions I was being asked.
But I did like the step by step and detailed information everywhere else.
What's great about it: All the details/step by step process
What's not so great: Business information and 401K rollover information was confusing

When my husband passed away, taxes were left to me and Turbo Tax was amazingly easy to use and file. It took a bit of a learning curve, but now after 8+ years of using the program, I can get my taxes (complete with retirement, rentals, investments, etc.) done in a day! There are always a few glitches I run in to, but it's an overall painless and often financial educational process for me. I use Premier. Many thanks.

Took less than 1 hour to do the return and E-File it. Made doing the tax return almost painless and very fast.
What's great about it: Everything explained clearly
What's not so great: None

This software has turned into a piece of junk. It is buggy beyond belief. I tried to sign up for audit protection but neither I nor Intuit support could figure out how to do it through the software or via the phone. 30 mins on the phone and your own support kicks me to another number. Then I try to file my return and because of a bug in your Java code I can not file. I had to research on my own to find a work around. "defaults write com.intuit.turbotax.2015 WebKitJavaScriptEnabled -bool YES". I am going to another program next year. No confidence in this product.
What's great about it: That I could import financial information
What's not so great: Buggy software.
