Been using a long time

Very good...love how it makes finding things like rental properties income easily to add. But conversely, the Premier is needed for this. Been using for quite a few years, haven't had a problem yet.
What's great about it: Even with new curve balls Turbo Tax walks through them easily
What's not so great: Unfortunately the curve ball (rental) causes us to have to buy the higher version of Turbo Tax

Dang thing insisted on attaching the Home Office to one of my Schedule C business, but I use the office as a w-2 employee. Should be able to just jump to whichever topic you want to work on - rental house, schedule C business, mortgage interest, etc., etc., but kept having to start at the top of the questionnaire. Home Office section should just ask which business it was for.
Also noticed you can't copy and paste from the program. Lame.
Even the questions below are lame. Yes I "own" my own business, but am also a w-2 employee. Yes I'm "married" but we're living in separate houses (one of which is a "vacation" home).

I like the TurboTax A LOT and have used it for several years. My quibbles are minor. But here they are: --My biggest single gripe: Old eyes are happier if any program zooms or enlarges font. Yours doesn't, at least not on Mac. --"Forms"approach should include the curerent tally of total amount due/refund just as EasY Step does. --On EasyStep, both Income and Deductions overview pages (for people who like to decide what to work on rather than being guided) should run the total at the bottom. Again, these are minor failings. I'll keep buying and using.
What's great about it: Overall excellent
What's not so great: some clunky spots

The down load of transaction data from my financial advisory company worked very well. You just have to remember the User ID and Password.
What's great about it: The best part is that it finds and brings in the applicable data from the previous tax year.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax seemed to jump around a little more this year.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
