Foreign tax credit took waaaaaay too long to figure out.
What's great about it: AMT ease
What's not so great: It was ridiculously hard to figure out how to get the foreign credit tax from 1099-Div. Can you make this easier?

I love TURBO TAX

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and you can never go wrong, They are easy, helpful and knowledgable. I actually had an issue this year and a tax prop spent over an hour on the phone resolving it for me. I was shocked and delighted.
What's great about it: Easy, user friendly,talk directly to a Pro.
What's not so great: There are NONE

In summary, I am pleased with the program and am confident in the accuracy. I always do a paper return to motivate the collection of my data and to remind me of what I had done last year. I could not get a match between my paper copy and the TurboTax results, so I used the Help Center. I spoke to a very friendly and knowledgeable agent who not only taught me better how to use TT, but explained some history behind the tax changes that lead to my erroneous result. I learned much I did not know about TurboTax tools and found the "Forms" option (on my Mac version) invaluable. I now know how to see the details of the TT calculations, and I found out why TT was correct - I did not know I was required to fill out a line in the 1040 "Other Taxes" section. My work now matches the TT result, and I have filed my federal and state returns as I sit at home late on a Sunday night.
What's great about it: It's all in there; repetitive as needed; thought provoking.

Very good. My taxes are not complex, 2 w-2's, rental and divorce - splitting kids alternate years, but only took 2 hours.
What's great about it: Questions made it easy
What's not so great: When I skipped back to correct an item, I wanted a button to go back to where I left off.
