Throw me a life-jacket!

Not an Accountant, or understand any of IRS lingo/processes, and math-challenged. But TurboTax enabled me to complete a 2015 tax extension and final submission of my 2015 tax returns!
What's great about it: TT program was "looping" on my computer. Called for assist. Person was supportive, knowlegable, and patient!
What's not so great: TT program was "looping" on my MAC.

something is wrong

i own === premier --- only it is does not print ala sched d&e corre ctly --- i looked at it on the prescreen reading & it looks great === but in actual printing it missing about half the information === federal forms came out great === an most of state came out great == with one exception which came out terrible sched d&e form 40 came out terrible== only printing about half of what it should have--- i am rapping up my 2015 taxes now === needless to say i am majorally disappointed
What's great about it: last year turbo worked fine == this year turbo tax is hurting
What's not so great: ala sched D& E === needs fixing

As noted, above: most of Turbo is very helpful in offering specific questions and choices. Where things went "difficult": in Reviews problems were found --- and it was difficult to correct / answer the missing item! Useful: to indicate in which form / entry the problem originated ---- not just the form that is missing the information. Also, at times the "legalize" comments from the Tax-Forms are repeated --- Not clarified! The reason the Review found problems in many cases: the user did not know what the item meant, where the associated information might be found!
What's great about it: Like usual, most guidance was most useful
What's not so great: On Review "fixes" it was difficult to know how to fix things

TTax makes sure you file a clean return!

After many years of using another income tax preparation program I stepped up to Intuit's TurboTax software a few years ago. The trauma of change was brief; and I realized that Intuit was becoming a serious contender in the field, striving to continually improve and upgrade TurboTax; leaving me with no regrets for making the switch to the leader in tax preparation software!
What's great about it: Helps you gather the right details every year.
What's not so great: I miss the small detail window at the bottom of the screen, following your progress.
