Very Easy

Taxes were just as easy as before I purchased my home this past tax year. thanks turbo tax for making the transition to homeowner just as simple as before.
What's great about it: taxes still easy after 1st year purchasing a home

TurboTax makes filing the return very easy - I even used the import feature for my investments this year - it imported everything correctly (it also flags the input for you to review).
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: None

In difficult tax situations, there is not enough explanation about what the tax program is actually doing. Left to wonder if everything is correct such as being asked to choose a yes or no without knowing what you are choosing for. In the error correction at review time, the program does not take you back to that form so again you are left guessing as to what is needed in that field.
What's not so great: one field was not totally displayed and was a difficult work-aroundd

Turbo Tax Performance

Being a Certified Public Accountant for many years and having used various software programs for the preparation of individual income tax programs, I found the Turbo Tax product to be very thorough, complete, easy to use and efficient.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, very thorough and professional

I always owe the state, so I don't e-file, I snail mail. The filing instructions for the state indicate that I printed both a copy and the state pages to file. There were no filing pages, everything was watermarked "do not file", so I'll have to print it again. It's an excellent program but these little quirks are frustrating.
What's great about it: Plug and Play, take your forms follow TT and record the numbers couldn't be easier
What's not so great: When it comes time to e-file, printing for review is cumbersome.

Nice way to do your taxes

Overall it is a great way to do your taxes and very helpful easy to figure out and overall a really great option!!! Have used it for over 10 years!
What's great about it: You can learn how your taxes are figured by walking through everything.
What's not so great: It always messes up my City Taxes, even when I tell it I do not need to file.

Very easy with the assistance

This is my 5th year using turbot tax and generally it is very easy to use. I like the fact my information from the prior year was easily imported. Would of gave 5 stars but when I tried to e-file I keep getting hung up as the next screen is frozen.
What's great about it: Options in selecting deductions
What's not so great: Had issues E-Filing
