Turbo Tax Gets The Job Done

Fairly easy to use, but no explanation when standard deduction was used the prior year, and no state refund form was recieved due to that fact.
What's great about it: Ease of use for an educated accountant
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to find required forms.

Stress Free Taxes Hurray !

Thank you so much for creating this program. Husband and I used to stress out doing taxes. Yes, some yelling was included. Now we make a pot of coffee - sit together at the computer and actually enjoyed doing taxes. THANK YOU
What's great about it: Takes all the stress out filing. Husband and I now make a pot of cofee and enjoy doing of taxesinstead of stressing out.

Easy to use

I've used TurboTax for many years now, and it never disappoints. Really designed for the average person. Even if you don't have any knowledge in the tax laws. It also helps the small business owner manage their documentation and annual filing.

I used an accountant ONCE

I have done my own taxes for years. A few years back, I went to an accountant because my taxes were complicated and I was wondering if I was doing them correctly, getting all my deductions, etc.. The accountant told me that I had some of the most difficult taxes they had prepared that year. The next year after using the accountant I went back to Turbo Tax because the accountant did not save me time, it cost me more money and I realized that I was getting all the bases covered with Turbo Tax. To solidify that decision, 3 years after I used the accountant, the IRS contacted me because the accountant had made a mistake and the accountant would not back it up. We were hit pretty hard. I have NEVER had a mistake occur with Turbo Tax. I always feel confident that my taxes are done right. And, as a person with high audit risk I simply purchase the Audit Protection plan and breathe easy. Thanks, Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy, thorough, guaranteed
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I have used Turbo Tax for 10 years and it was so easy when I had my own business. I keep using it now that I am no longer self-employed because I trust it.
What's great about it: Easy-to-Use, Very Accurate
